Phlebotomist PRN

PRN Phlebotomist needed for a busy physicians’ office lab.  Requirements include phlebotomy experience, great organization and problem solving skills, ability to work independently, work well with other members of the team and communicate effectively.  Responsible for sample collection and patient identification, entering patient orders into the electronic medical record system.  The employee may be delegated to other responsibilities upon request of the Laboratory Director or Corporate Laboratory Supervisor, depending on the situation.

Qualifications: Phlebotomy certification.  High School Diploma.

Payroll and Human Resources Coordinator

Responsibilities:  Organize and execute Human Resources system and Payroll processes.

  • Payroll:  Responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll, employee deductions, direct deposit entries, payment of federal taxes, 401K reporting, vacation and sick occurrences, federal and state reporting, termination and state separation forms, W-2’s, 1095-C and 1094-C forms.
  • Human Resources:  Responsible for new employee orientation and training schedule, employee paperwork and benefits documentation, background checks and drug screens, observe legal compliance regarding actions related to employment.  Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually in addition to maintain and report to conform to EEO regulations.  Knowledge and comprehension of company employee handbook and policies and procedures.  Knowledge and maintenance of local, state and federal regulations regarding employment and termination procedures.  Assists with employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.  Accurately maintain both payroll and personnel files in a confidential manner.  Professionally representation for legal proceedings.  Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and services performed.

Qualifications:

  • Education:  High School Diploma; degree from an accredited college or university (preferred)
  • Experience:  5+ years Payroll and Human Resources experience (preferred)

Skills:  Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Peachtree/Sage or similar payroll software.  Knowledge of operating standard office equipment; work independently, organized and detail oriented.

Salary:  Dependent on skills and experience.

Hospital Care Coordinator

RN, LPN, RMA or CMA :2 Years of experience working in a hospital required.

The Hospital Care Coordinator (HCC) will serve as an adjunct to Holston Medical Group Hospitalists and its affiliates within Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center. The HCC will facilitate meeting the patient’s healthcare needs by optimizing the use of outpatient EMR information while the patient is in the hospital. The HCC will have access to both patient data collected during the hospitalization as well as around the hospitalization including pertinent outpatient information as it relates to the conditions that contribute to the patient’s hospitalization. The Hospital Care Coordinator will use appropriate electronic platforms to facilitate the coordination of care involving assigned patients under the protocol and supervision of an approved physician.

Main Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinating care with HVMC Patient Navigators and Case Managers
• Scheduling of outpatient follow up appointments
• Updating the outpatient electronic health record to reflect the patient’s current active conditions and medications
• Executing outpatient prescription refills under direct provider supervision
